Thank you for helping us reach our goal!
In keeping with the theme of service to others, GSHG undertook a council-wide service project in celebration of our 110th anniversary. We thank every Girl Scout, alumnae, family and friend for the help.
Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia donated 7,805 hygiene kits to homeless and sheltered populations across the state. The yearlong community service project began March 12, 2022, culminating March 2023.
Past and present Girl Scouts, Troops, and friends packed and donated the nearly-8,000 kits and distributed them to St. Clare’s Neighbors in Need, Park Place Outreach, Macon Periods Easier, Rise Up Augusta, and Sparrows Nest, just to name a few of the organizations that benefited. Some troops even handed them out directly to those in need.
