Some of the most cherished memories that many of us have are those made while camping. Family camping, hiking, canoeing, backpacking, Girl Scout Camp, and day camps all have served to provide thousands of us with laughter, challenges, skills, and rewarding experiences. Girl Scouting gave us the opportunity to have these experiences.
GSHG's wonderful camps need some tender loving care in order to preserve these wonderful resources. Materials and skilled labor are expensive and manpower/womanpower is at a premium. In order to provide the finest possible venues for life changing outdoor experiences at an affordable price, we need your help.
Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia is looking for moms, dads, grandparents, and responsible older girl volunteers to help keep our camp properties functional and beautiful. We need carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, and willing workers to come and lend a hand. Have a project in mind? Fill out our Property Service Agreement form to let us know what you'd like to do!
We also invite you to join an Adopt a Camp Team (ACT) as a volunteer, and come spend the day or weekend helping us refresh our beloved camps. Grab your sleeping bag, hammer, work gloves, and bug spray and come share a fun, service-oriented day or weekend with us!

In addition to four beautiful camp properties, we also have offices and service centers around the state that are used by Girl Scouts, volunteers, staff members, and other members of the community. These properties also need tender loving care so that they can be used to serve Girl Scouts and the surrounding communities for years to come.
If you see an area of need at any of our properties and would like to volunteer, fill out our GSHG Property Service Agreement form to let us know about your proposed project!
