How much does it cost to attend camp?
There is a little variety between day camp, resident camp, and travel camp. Feel free to view the Camp Pricing Information on page 23 of our Summer Camp Guide!
What discounts are available?
Feel free to combine up to two of these offerings:
Early Bird Discount: $50 Off Resident Camp before February 29, $25 Off Day Camp before February 29. Early Bird was extended until March 29 due to the delay from Camp Doc.
Returning Camper Discount: $20 Off for a Girl Scout who participated in Summer Camp 2023.
Multi-Camper Household: $10 per additional camper.
Financial Aid: Camp assistance is available with an application form.
Where can people find scholarship information?
The Financial Assistance Form for Camperships can be found here, and also at the bottom of the Summer Camp web page. The application must be submitted to ProgramRegistrar@gshg.org by March 29, 2024.
How do I add money to the trading post account?
Money (cash) for the Trading Post can be left with camp staff upon check-in. We also accept cards, parents and guardians can inform camp staff of a price limit for their campers and staff will charge the card on file on Friday on that week of camp. On average, most campers spend about $25 throughout the week. Cost for Trading Post items range from $0.25 to $25, and range from snacks and candy, to cabin activities, and even branded camp apparel!
Is there a packing list for summer camp?
Yes! The packing list can be found on page 11 of our Summer Camp Guide. Please note, we do not have bicycles and helmets available at Camp Low - campers must bring their own!
How do I add a drop off/pick up person after camp begins or before we get to camp?
During registration, names can be added in CampDoc, as well as at check in! If anything changes during the week, an email can be sent to programregistrar@gshg.org with updates.
How will parents/guardians receive communication – before and during camp?
GSHG will post updates regarding Summer Camp to the Summer Camp page of our website, as well on our social media platforms and in 5 on Friday leading up to camp!

Our Camp Director and MarComm Team will also periodically post photos from camp on our social media platforms!

Lost and found items - how do we get these back once camp has ended?
We understand how frustrating it is to lose belongings! Email programregistrar@gshg.org noting the items that have been lost, we will work diligently with camp staff and our property rangers on finding and mailing Lost and Found items.
When is payment due?
Payment is due 7 business days before the start of your camp session.
