How much does it cost to attend camp?
There is a little variety between day camps and resident camps. Check out our Summer Camp Guide for pricing.
What discounts are available?
Feel free to combine up to two of these offerings:
Early Bird Discount: $50 Off Resident Camp before March 31, $25 Off Day Camp before March 31
Returning Camper Discount: $20 Off for a Girl Scout who participated in Summer Camp last year.
Multi-Camper Household: $10 per additional camper.
Financial Aid: Camp assistance is available with an application form.
Where can people find scholarship information?
The Financial Assistance Form for Camperships can be found here, and also at the bottom of the Summer Camp web page. The application must be submitted to ProgramRegistrar@gshg.org by March 31.
How do I add money to the trading post account?
Money (cash) for the Trading Post can be left with camp staff upon check-in. On average, most campers spend about $25 throughout the week. Cost for Trading Post items range from $0.50 to $30, and range from cabin activities to camp apparel!
Is there a packing list for summer resident camp?
Yes! The packing list can be in the Summer Camp Guide.
How do I add a drop off/pick up person after camp begins or before we get to camp?
During registration, names can be added in CampDoc, as well as at check in! If anything changes during the week, an email can be sent to programregistrar@gshg.org with updates.
How will parents/guardians receive communication – before and during camp?
GSHG will post updates regarding Summer Camp to the Summer Camp page of our website, as well on our social media platforms and in 5 on Friday leading up to camp!
During the day, parents and guardians can contact our Customer Care Team by phone or email at 888-689-1912 or customercare@gshg.org, as well as by emailing our Program Team at programregistrar@gshg.org. Our Camp Director and MarComm Team will also periodically post photos from camp on our social media platforms! Our after hours phone number is 229-299-8474.

Lost and found items - how do we get these back once camp has ended?
We understand how frustrating it is to losembelongings! Email programregistrar@gshg.org noting the items that have been lost, we will work diligently with camp staff and our property rangers on finding and mailing Lost and Found items. To prevent lost items, please ensure all camper belongs are clearly labeled with the child's name. The most left behind items are usually clothing - please be proactive by using a laundry bag (rather than a trash bag, a trash bag left behind at camp is usually mistaken for trash rather than clothing) and checking your campers belonging before departure.
When is payment due?
Payment is due 7 business days before the start of your camp session.
