Want to help spread the word and raise money for Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia! We've created a fundraising toolkit to help you share about Georgia Gives on Giving Tuesday with your network!
Before a Girl Scout sails around the world or designs their own fashion line, they need to believe they can do it. Your gift will afford a Girl Scout to make those dreams a reality by providing financial assistance.
All girls in grades K-12 regardless of family income or academic abilities are eligible for Girl Scouts and all girls must register as members of Girl Scouts USA, which entails a $30 ($25 plus $5 service fee) annual membership fee. For girls served through Outreach/Direct Delivery, Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia provides that registration fee, all program supplies, entry fees to council-sponsored workshops, and scholarships for summer camp.
Your donation can go a long way in Girl Scouting!
It can pay for:
- $25.00 - pays the membership fee of a young girl whose family cannot afford for her to participate in Girl Scouts.
- $75.00 - pays for the uniform, pins, patches, and handbook of a new Scout whose family cannot afford to participate in Girl Scouts.
- $450.00 - will pay for a week of camp for a girl whose family cannot afford to send her to camp.
- $1,750.00 - pays for a year of service to an outreach troop of at-risk girls.

GSHG Girl Scout Cookie Challenge
Stay tuned for more information about the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Challenge!
Girl Scout members and supporters are encouraged to join us in this fun challenge to get the word out about Girl Scouts and support the Girl Scout Cookie Program. The instructions are simple:
- Set up video to record yourself doing the challenge
- Set your timer for 1 minute - there is a 1 minute time limit to complete challenge
- Place your favorite Girl Scout cookie on the top of your forehead
- Wiggle, tilt, scrunch your face to move the cookie from your forehead, down your face and into your mouth
- Enjoy your delicious Girl Scout cookie
- Post your successful challenge to social media
- Challenge at least 3 friends and/or family member to participate. They have 48 hours to do the challenge and challenge 3 more people of their choice or donate $25 to Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia at the link below. See how it's done in the video below!
Make sure to send the video to GSHG at media@gshg.org or through Facebook Messenger to Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia so it can be posted on the GSHG social media outlets.
Donations help provide incredible life-changing experiences for girls in your community. From financial literacy to horseback riding to environmental education, Girl Scouts do it all, and you can be a part of the process! The challenge will run through March 3, 2023.
