Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia offers girls both inside and outside of our council the opportunity to earn Council's Own badges and Historic Georgia patches and pins. The requirements to earn these recognitions can be found below.
Please note: Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia and Girl Scout First Headquarters are reimagining and retiring some of our Council's Own Badges at this time. This is in part to simply edit the badges for content based on new opportunities or more current curriculum, as well as to fit with the new GSUSA national badge criteria. Some badges may not be available at this time.
While the new “Coastal Georgia” Badges and “Discovering Daisy’s Neighborhood” Badges are not yet ready to purchase, we invite & encourage you to complete this interest form to help expedite your purchase when they are available. Having an accurate accounting of public interest will help to make certain the initial order meets the needs of all interested parties. Also, we will be able to directly contact you more quickly to complete your purchase and mail the badges to you. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this exciting transition!
If you are willing to serve on a volunteer committee to assist with these updates, or have any suggestions, comments or concerns please contact Lorena Kirschner or Jami Brantley.
To place an order for these badges, patches and pins, please visit our online shop here or contact your local council shop to learn more!
Please Note: At this time, we no longer have any Cadette, Senior or Ambassador Council's Own badges in stock.
Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated time for GSUSA to reapprove these badges.
