The Green Hat Society is a national alumnae group dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich traditions of Girl Scouting. Rooted in community and connection, members celebrate Girl Scout values by passing on songs, skills, ceremonies, and the friendships that last a lifetime.
The mission is simple: “Having fun while passing on Girl Scout traditions.”
Whether it's singing campfire songs, teaching classic knots, or leading time-honored ceremonies, the Green Hat Society keeps the spirit of Girl Scouting alive for generations to come.
In addition to joining the Green Hat Society, alumnae in Gainesville, Macon, and Savannah are also invited to connect with their local Alum Troop 2012—open to alum members of any age. You’re welcome to join both The Green Hat Society and Troop 2012!
