Join us at the Clementi L. Holder Girl Scout Service Center in Athens on September 12 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for our Fun With Movement class!
This event is ideal for future Girl Scouts in kindergarten through third grade!.
Marianne Hale, UGA Alum and Athens Dance Instructor since 1984, is partnering with Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia to explore movement and rhythm! During this activity, Daisies (kindergarteners and first graders) will complete the Fun With Movement Badge and Brownies (second and third graders) will complete the first 3 steps of the Brownie Dance Badge.
The Daisy Fun With Movement Badge will get your body moving in all sorts of ways, big and small. From stretching to dancing, to grooving to the music, it's time to move for fun!
The Brownie Dance Badge will teach you fun warm-ups as you try new ways to move and take to the floor like a dancer.
