Being a Girl Scout volunteer isn't a cookie cutter experience. There are many different ways to get involved-- including becoming a Girl Scout Event Director! As an Event Director you'll lead by example and showcase important skills like leadership and teamwork. You'll take responsibility for managing an entire event, which will include a whole lot of delegation between your team of adult volunteers, girls and community partners.
Whether you're new to event planning or are a regular host of large scale programs, this virtual training will familiarize you GSHG's processes and procedures and equip you with the necessary tools to host a successful Girl Scout event! You'll learn the basics like brainstorming and location selection while also getting into the nitty gritty of budgeting, scheduling, and securing volunteers.
