Read more about the council’s outreach initiatives. • Give in Honor or Memory of Someone Special Recognize that special someone that has made an impact on your life. Upon receipt of a tribute gift, a thanks card will be sent to the honoree (or in the case of a memorial, the honoree’s family), informing them that a gift has been received in their honor/memory. • Company Match Many employers will match charitable contributions through the company toward employee designated contributions. Contact your Human Resources or Community Relations office and ask them if they have a matching gifts program. • Juliette Gordon Low Society The Juliette Gordon Low (JGL) Society is a prestigious group of supports. Benefits of membership include a special Juliette Gordon Low Society Charter pin (for first year donation) and lunch at one of our Woman of Distinction Events. Recognition includes acknowledgement in the Annual Report, and a listing on the council website. To become a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society, you must make a donation of $1,000 or more during one calendar year. Benefits apply to all donors for each year in which they contribute financially to Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. • Daisy Society When a donation of $25.00 or more is made in honor of a girl to the Annual Giving Campaign, the girl will receive a segment of the Daisy Society patch. (One piece of the patch can be received each calendar year.) Donation may be made on the girl’s registration form or at anytime during the calendar year. (Donations made other than at the time of registration will need to have a note accompanying them. The note needs to include the name of the girl the gift is honoring and the girl’s troop number.)
