Celebrating the 100 Year Anniversary of World Thinking Day!

On February 22, 2026, Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia will join millions of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world to celebrate World Thinking Day. This is a special day of global friendship and understanding. Our fun and meaningful celebration will include girl-led activities, learning about different cultures, trying new yummy foods from different countries, and discovering how Girl Scouts everywhere work to make the world a better place. Come connect, learn, and celebrate our worldwide sisterhood!

Along with the snacks and SWAPS that they girls will exchange, registration includes:

  • A 2026 World Thinking Day Canvas Tote Bag
  • A 2026 World Thinking Day Patch

For this event, we ask that Girl Scouts Register with their troops so that they can present as well as experience the celebration by taking turns.

IMPORTANT: At this event, troops are asked to research and learn about any one country and then bring a table presentation, such as a tri fold board or display piece, and share their new knowledge with other attending Girl Scout troops. We also ask that you bring a small snack that originates from your country, as well as a SWAP that you can pin to your WTD tote bag.

  • Council can provide you with the trifold board, as well as other supplies upon request.
