Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as we join over 250 other community groups for this year's parade in Savannah!

This celebratory parade weaves through the downtown historic district, and it's just one part of other events led by the MLK Observance Day Association. Through his mission of peace and unity, Dr. King changed the world for the better. Marching in the parade recognizes his efforts and our support for his mission.

This is not a drop-off event. All registered Girl Scouts must be accompanied by an adult/troop leader and maintain appropriate adult-to-girl ratios. This is also a day of service! As part of service to the community, GSHG is asking Girl Scouts to donate a book amplifying African-American voices and stories. Books should be geared for school grades. Books will be collected throughout the month at our Girl Center.
