Step into the sweet world of engineering at Camp Martha Johnston with the Gingerbread Engineering Extravaganza! This hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the fundamentals of engineering through the fun and festive activity of building gingerbread houses.
In this engaging program, you'll combine creativity and critical thinking as you design and construct your own edible architectural masterpiece. Using gingerbread, icing, and a variety of candy decorations, you'll learn about structural integrity, balance, and material science. You will have the chance to explore engineering principles such as load distribution, stability, and reinforcement, all while you enjoy the delicious results of your hard work!
Let's keep our Girl Scouts safe! Leaders/registered adults are needed for each troop or individually registered Girl Scout. Please remember, this is not a drop off event.
