from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The event, sponsored by the Muscogee

GSHG was recently contacted by a Girl Scout Cadette troop from New York
who, in 2009, lost an 8-year-old member of their troop, Kayla Donohue,
and her mother, Lori, when they were killed by a drunk driver.
The troop has since created KDAY, a memorial event held each year in
June, to honor their memories and connect with other Girl Scouts.
Last year, as part of their event, they made troops of Flat
Juliettes. On the back of each Juliette is Kayla's story, and in
the spirit of sisterhood in Girl Scouting, they would like to start the
Juliettes on an adventure. GSHG troops are asked to take Juliette
on an adventure and then create an 8.5"x11" scrapbook page
recounting her adventure with the troop. The NY troop hopes to
receive several pages from each state by June 1, 2013. The stories will
be shared at this year's event and then given to Kayla's family.
If interested in participating, please contact Robyn Scinta at email@example.com.
