An alarming statistic: one in three highschool students have been or will be involved in an abusive relationship. In this program, girls will learn about the many facets of relational aggression including cyberbullyiing, toxic friendships, risk factors, power and control, and the cycle of abuse. Girls will be given the tools to recognize what comprises a healthy relationship and how to avoid troublesome ones. They’ll learn how not to accept relational aggression from others, and to build better relationships with everyone around them.
Celebrate Juliette Low’s birthday in style. We’ll visit the buildings that were important to her, tour the city that she loved so much by trolley, and earn a badge along the way. Saturday night we’ll become anyone we imagine and dance the night away at a true masquerade birthday ball. Troops will also have the option of participating in other Savannah Girl Scout activities including: earning your Coastal Georgia badge on a dolphin tour and joining the Girl Scout Militia at Old Fort Jackson.
