Other Easy Ways to Support GSHG

Aside from formal donations, there are lots of easy (and fun) ways to help raise money for Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. Here are some ways to make an investment in Girl Scouting without making a large contribution yourself:

Buy a Brick
The First Girl Scout Headquarters building was formerly the carriage house for Juliette Low’s adult home, and it now houses the council’s archives and serves as a museum and program activity center. We’re replacing the bricks in the courtyard with new, commemorative engraved bricks.  They are 4”x8” in size and cost $100 each.  Share a message or just list your name. To purchase a brick, please print/complete the Commemorative Brick Order Form and return it with your payment (Visa, MasterCard or check) to any GSHG council shop, or to save time and gas, order your brick online now! For additional information, please contact LaDon Shaw.

Scouting for Shoes
GSHG is proud to partner with ShoeBox Recycling to offer our supporters the opportunity to raise funds for Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia in an environmentally friendly way. The program is simple. You collect gently used, re-wearable shoes. ShoeBox Recycling will pay us $.50 for each pound collected. We will put these funds toward your Service Unit Friends & Family Campaign fundraising efforts. ShoeBox Recycling also provides us with boxes to fill and also covers all shipping costs!

Alumnae, troop leaders, and Girl Scout volunteers can be philanthropists... and girls can too!  It's easy!  Just use our tools and resources below to complete Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia's "I am a Philanthropist" program:
- Make Your Own Bank
- Contribution Form
- Girl Workbook
